IT Commercial Manager

We are seeking a proactive and strategic IT Commercial Manager to join our team on a 24-month fixed-term contract. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of several high-impact strategic projects, with a focus on commercial oversight and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the commercial management of contracts related to IT service delivery and operations.
• Provide commercial insights and guidance to business units, ensuring alignment with procurement processes and legal compliance.
• Manage supplier relationships with a focus on performance, value delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate to define and agree on SLAs, KPIs, and operational needs, ensuring Procurement futureproof contracts and tenders to deliver long-term value.
• Track, monitor and manage expenditure on existing call-off contracts, ensuring that all deliverables outlined in the Statements of Work are completed in full and remain aligned with contractual obligations.

About the Role

This is an operationally focused role embedded within the IT team, distinct from Procurement. You will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and Procurement/Legal, shaping commercial deliverables and ensuring that software and systems contracts consistently deliver optimal value. Experience in managing software and systems contracts is highly desirable. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly, requiring adaptability, initiative, and a commitment to high-quality delivery.
