We have an exciting opportunity for a Grants and Contracts Officer on a fixed-term basis, working within the College of Business and Social Sciences to support research funding development and award acceptance. This includes identifying funding opportunities, contributing to bids, and overseeing post-award processes such as reviewing and processing contracts and agreements.
Reporting to the Awards and Contracts Specialist, you’ll collaborate closely with researchers and colleagues across teams to help deliver a high-quality, inclusive research support service aligned with Aston’s Research and Enterprise 2030 strategy. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage processes effectively are essential.
You should have a degree or equivalent experience, proven organisational skills, and experience in drafting and negotiating contracts. We’re looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building strong working relationships.
