We’re seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Marketing Officer to execute innovative and effective marketing campaigns that support the partner strategy and business development goals for Summer School and Global Programmes – our two highly successful global offerings that bring the LSE experience and education to a wider audience.

If you are a proactive marketing professional with experience of working on campaigns using the full marketing mix, this is the role for you. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to create creative and engaging content across a range of channels.

This exciting role will form part of the Extended Education’s marketing, recruitment and events team, working closely with the recruitment and business development teams to deliver on targets.

In particular, the post holder will focus on:

  • Content creation, with a focus on producing high quality copy and content for a B2B partner and B2C student audience.
  • Sales enablement material such as partner brochures, slide decks and case studies.
  • Roll-out of social media campaigns in collaboration with partners in their local markets.
  • Planning and execution of regular newsletters and webinars in partnership with the recruitment and business development teams.
  • Implementation of our website and email strategies, overseen by the Marketing Manager.
  • Liaising with a range of stakeholders including LSE academics, professional staff from around the School and external agencies and freelancers.

The Extended Education division is a highly successful and commercially focused division. The courses, degrees and diplomas we offer across this diverse and dynamic portfolio provide a significant revenue source for the school, generating critical funds to invest in LSE’s world-leading teaching and research. We operate in increasingly competitive markets and have ambitious targets for growth.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities. This is a campus-based role and the successful candidate will be required to be in the office three days a week.

For further information about the post, please see the how to apply document, job description and the person specification.
