We’re looking for a qualified Finance Business Partner to join our Management Accounting team.
About the role
This is a pivotal role that blends technical expertise with strategic insight. You’ll work closely with the Digital, Data & Technology Group, the Department of Planning, Performance & Strategic Change and the Department of Sport and Recreation to ensure a robust financial framework is in place for in-year financial monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. By providing accurate and timely financial data, you will enable departments to make well-informed decisions that align with the University's strategic objectives.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting strategic projects—developing financial models, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and assessing the financial viability of new initiatives. By delivering clear and actionable financial insights, you will help project teams understand their finances, optimise resource allocation, and enhance project outcomes.
Sitting within the MIS team in Finance and Procurement, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, mitigating financial risks, and promoting best practices in financial management.
This position is offered on a full-time, open-ended basis. You’ll benefit from a hybrid working pattern, working on-site two days per week (once at the Virgil Building, and another day on campus).
