The opportunity
University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Fashion Marketing and Sustainability to join the MA Fashion Marketing and Sustainability course at London College of Fashion (LCF).
This dynamic course sits within the Marketing & Branding Programme and is based in our Fashion Business School. The course helps postgraduate students to develop the analytical, communication and entrepreneurial skills they need to positively influence communities and the environment through fashion marketing.
As a key member of the course team, you will contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of the MA course, with a particular focus on fashion marketing theory and practice, marketing and sustainability strategies, sustainability policies and their impact on the fashion industry, and evolving consumer behaviour. Drawing on your specialist marketing and sustainability knowledge, you will help advance the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will provide pastoral support to a group of postgraduate students. This includes monitoring progress and attendance, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with colleagues as appropriate. You will also supervise and guide students through the development of their Master’s projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a course that encourages students to critically engage with fashion marketing and sustainability practices, equipping the next generation of fashion marketers with an outlook that prioritises ethics, environmental responsibility, and sustainability in business practices.
