Saïd Business School is a world-class business school community, embedded within a world-class university. We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team and contribute to the commercial success of Oxford Saïd and its trading subsidiary, OSBS Ltd.
Reporting to the Financial and Systems Accountant, you will take ownership of financial processes for Custom and Open Executive Education Programmes, preparing high-quality management accounts, supporting statutory reporting and playing a key role in system development and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead all financial and systems processes for Custom and Open Programmes, ensuring revenue recognition is accurate and aligned with accounting standards.
- Prepare month-end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting for both the School and its subsidiary.
- Design and deliver training on financial systems and processes for project managers.
- Provide support during interim and year-end audits.
- Lead process improvements, system developments and the production of key finance reports and dashboards.
You will hold a recognised accounting qualification (or be actively working towards one) and have proven experience in month-end accounting processes, including management and statutory accounts. You will be highly IT literate, with advanced Excel skills and expertise in using and enhancing financial systems to improve efficiency and data quality.
