The Head of Department is a key member of academic management, responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Department, its academic programmes and resources. This post will support the development of new and additional programme areas, and make contributions to support external engagement more generally, and specifically with key professional law and regulatory bodies.
It is expected that the Head of Department role will exhibit and possess the following attributes;
The successful applicant will form part of the School Management team along with the Head of School. The HoD will possess the requisite managerial, leadership, and administrative knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
