About the role
Would you like to work alongside Imperial’s experienced Commercialisation and Technology transfer professionals on promoting College’s capabilities and Intellectual property portfolio and securing commercialisation income via licensing and spinouts?
Both roles are based in the Faculty of Medicine. One of two roles being recruited will also support the Faculty of Natural Sciences (FoNS)

What we are looking for
As a service provider to the Faculty of Medicine supporting academics in their interactions with industry and commercialisation activities, your main duties will include:
Essential requirements
To be successful in this role you will have experience in commercial deal making or licensing in a life sciences business environment (e.g. chemicals, materials, pharma, biotech etc) or in technology venture capital. An understanding of the academic environment, and in particular, university funding mechanisms and technology commercialisation, preferably gained through previous experience of working within HEI or industry is essential.
Strategic and analytical mindset, strong delivery focus, excellent communication skills coupled with an understanding of the academic environment, product innovation and technology commercialisation processes are also essential.
