We are looking for a qualified counsellor or psychotherapist with a passion for working with university students to provide solution focused support, assessment and short-term counselling.
We would love you to bring your existing knowledge, skills and experience of providing empathic support within an educational setting to our counselling team on Whiteknights campus not far from Reading town centre. Our campus is set in 130 hectares of beautiful parkland, and we are proud of our green credentials.
We are a multidisciplinary team with a mental health and counselling focus who support students as part of wider Student Wellbeing Services at the university. Our Wellbeing Advisors assess students’ wellbeing and mental health needs, signpost to appropriate support and provide short-term interventions to students in person and online.
