What you would be doing:
As the Admissions Manager you’ll oversee the planning and delivery of all operational aspects of the applicant-student journey through admissions for all undergraduate programmes within the Faculty of Medicine, which includes the MBBS/BSc Medicine programme and the BSc Medical Biosciences programme.
You will provide specialist advice and guidance on the evaluation of the admissions processes, extending to the Peers Cumbria School of Medicine Admissions team, as well as internal and external admission statistical reporting. Working closely with senior management and academics, you will ensure that students are well supported during their admissions experience, providing high quality, timely information and managing activity in a professional but approachable manner.
You will manage the undergraduate admissions team, overseeing all undergraduate admissions related activities, including educational recruitment initiatives including the delivery of the core undergraduate marketing and outreach events including the Medicine and BMB Open Days, Offer Holder days, and the development and review of new recruitment mechanisms, policies and processes to improve the student experience.

This is a full-time and open-ended role at Level 4, based at the Charing Cross Campus but with potential travel to other campuses to suit business needs.
This is a hybrid working role; the postholder will be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an attractive total renumeration package.
