Working Pattern: Part-Time: 17.5 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday)
Are you interested in working in a busy and complex operational environment? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key member of the Campus Services Administration team where you will work alongside colleagues providing a range of activities which support Estates and Facilities Management across the University of Sheffield.
Your primary role will involve key duties such as recruitment and selection activities across the department, maintaining personnel records for over 550 staff, liaising with stakeholders and members of the public, face to face and over the telephone, and the inputting of data into software systems using the utmost accuracy.
As part of the Administration Team, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for efficiency and will be responsible for ensuring excellent working relationships with service managers, whilst bringing a high level of planning and organisational skills to the role, along with a keen eye for detail along with good analytical and IT skills.
Being a team player is an essential requirement for this role which also demands excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks ensuring work conforms to agreed University standards, guidelines and procedures.
