About the role
Dr. Adrover’s laboratory focuses on how cancer affects whole-body physiology, with a particular emphasis on the cardiovascular, haematopoietic, and immune systems.
The Cancer Macroenvironment Lab is seeking applications for postdoctoral candidates to carry out experimental work aimed at understanding the interplay between cancer and the haematopoietic compartment. The research program will study how cancer affects the haematopoietic stem and progenitor cell compartment to induce changes in myeloid populations that then have detrimental roles in cancer progression. You will be looking at how this happens and how we can target these processes to enhance cancer patient’s welfare. You will be mainly working in a wet lab, although the role will also encompass sequencing data analysis.
