We are looking for applicants with research interests and a developing reputation in the areas of electronics and software development, applied to medical applications.
Our mission in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS) is one of a real world application. By embedding an innovative learning by doing ethos into all our courses, we aim to provide an inspirational education that delivers impact in UK industry and worldwide.
As the successful candidate you will hold a MEng/MSc in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a relevant discipline. You will have demonstrated track record of proficiency in C#/Python as well as experience with Unity, embedded platform design and UI/UX Design.
What we offer:
The salary being offered for this role is below the minimum threshold for required to sponsor new applicants to the Skilled Worker route. However, Aston University may be able to sponsor the successful candidate if they:
• Are under 25 years old
• Hold a PhD that is relevant to the role
• Have held a Student or Graduate visa in the last 2 years
• Are already in the UK with a Tier 2 or Skilled Worker visa
