We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Development, Culture and Collections to lead fundraising for an extraordinary portfolio that includes:

The Fitzwilliam Museum - the UK's leading regional museum and home to over half a million works of art and antiquities.

Kettle's Yard - Cambridge's unique contemporary art gallery, blending the personal and the progressive.

The University Library - one of the world's great research libraries, housing treasures from across human history.

You will lead a team of talented fundraisers and work closely with directors, curators, academic leaders, and senior donors to build meaningful, long-term philanthropic partnerships that support creativity, scholarship, and public engagement.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a committed fundraising leader who can:

- Build and execute major gift strategies that deliver at scale including seven, and potentially eight-figure gifts.

- Inspire, lead and support a team of fundraisers to reach their full potential.

- Partner effectively with senior stakeholders and academic leaders to align fundraising with institutional priorities.

- Communicate compellingly with sophisticated donors who are passionate about culture, creativity, and legacy.

- Bring creativity, curiosity and emotional intelligence to relationship building and team leadership.
