About the Role

As a Clinical Trial Assistant, you will play a fundamental role in supporting the planning and execution of the AssistMS clinical trial. Your key duties will include organise, and maintain essential clinical trial documentation, including protocol, informed consent form, and trial master files. You will assist with the coordination of various trial-related activities, including site initiation, monitoring visits, and patient recruitment efforts. You will help maintaining accurate and up-to-date trial database and tracking systems for study recruitment, documentation and equipment. You will assist in data entry and management of trial-related documents, and you will ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory standards.

About You

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic individual with a bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and a with a genuine interest in clinical research and a passion for improving patient health outcomes.
  • Previous experience in clinical research or a healthcare setting is an advantage but not required.
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements is a plus.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project

The AssistMS study is coordinated at the Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery & Trauma at The Blizard Institute, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. This study looks at whether a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) software can help radiologists to better understand brain scans of people with multiple sclerosis (MS).
