About the Role
We are looking to appoint a Research Operations Manager for the Metabolic Health Research Group, led by Professor William Alazawi. The group has a thriving programme of translational and clinical research based in the Centre of Immunobiology and is a part of the Barts Metabolism Network and Barts Liver Centre. The research operations for the group will support academic and commercially-funded studies, clinical trials and research led scientific studies.
About You
You will be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication, organisational and time management skills and must be able to demonstrate collaborative teamwork, resilience and a positive attitude in order to manage the different elements of finance, project management, governance and delivery required for this portfolio.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 360 staff based in four academic Centers and one Public Engagement Centre and supports a combined total of c700 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.
