The University is seeking to recruit a permanent Occupational Health Screening Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to join an in-house nurse led occupational health service at a prestigious Russell Group University.
We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse who will thrive in the diversity of University life and enjoy working with healthcare students and employees from varied roles and professional background.
As a member of the occupational health team you will be required to provide an occupational health surveillance, screening and immunisation service under the direction of the Specialist Occupational Health Nurse. You will have the freedom to act within the policies and practices of the service. You will provide a service of excellence, through the application of your knowledge and skills as a Registered Nurse.
The Occupational Health Service is part of the Directorate of Legal and Governance. The successful applicant must understand the ethical and professional issues which arise in a busy occupational health service, as well as having the ability to manage a fast paced, time critical workload.
The hours of work will be 28 per week.
