This post will play a crucial role in supporting UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funded postgraduate researchers, predominantly by coordinating “Research in Practice” (RiP) placement activity for the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Northwest Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (NWSSDTP) between 2024 - 2029.
The role will be based at the University of Liverpool but will support students and staff across the five universities within the NWSSDTP: The University of Central Lancashire, Keele University, Lancaster University, the University of Liverpool, and the University of Manchester.
This role is externally funded by the ESRC and is designed to meet the ESRC’s requirements for the delivery of the RiP aspect of the NWSSDTP grant – that all NWSSDTP students should have the opportunity to undertake a three-month placement during their studentship.
You will be a member of the Faculty Research and Impact Support Team, reporting to the NWSSDTP Manager / Faculty Doctoral Training Officer and ultimately to the Head of Research Development and Delivery.
You should have a degree, equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience.
This post is fixed term until 30 September 2029, it is part time (0.8 FTE).
Unfortunately, this role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route, you will therefore have to demonstrate your own right to work in the UK.
