About the role
We are seeking a project manager to play a key role in the Dengue and Zika Immunology and Genomics Multi-Country Network (DeZi Network) Wellcome Trust funded project to support the optimisation and harmonised implementation of arbovirus serological and genomic surveillance across >18 countries in the African and Asian continents. The post holder will be based in the Department of Infectious Diseases Epidemiology (DIDE) at the School of Public Health in the Faculty of Medicine and will be responsible for providing high level project management and directing all administrative efforts to support the successful delivery and implementation of DeZi.
What you would be doing
The post holder will take the lead on tracking progress with partner implementing institutions and supporting all logistics and administrative functions of the project, including the procurement process.
The post holder will also have overall responsibility for the management of contracts with subcontracted partners and will support the PI, co-PIs, and Project Managers in Africa and Asia with the overall budget and financial forecasting of the project.
