University of East Anglia - Faculty of Social Sciences, Norwich Business School

Location: Norwich
Salary: £26,338 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Part Time
Contract Type: Fixed-Term/Contract
Placed On: 9th July 2025
Closes: 25th July 2025
Job Ref: SC4840

Salary on appointment will be £26,338 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £29,959 per annum (pro rata).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator to join Norwich Business School to support the delivery of its Help to Grow Programme. This is a UK Government funded executive education course, aimed at local small to medium sized businesses.

The Project Coordinator will work with the Project Manager to ensure that NBS offers a smooth, seamless and enjoyable candidate experience from application and onboarding, and through the course to the alumni events beyond. You will liaise with and get to know the businesses involved and be able to familiarise yourself with, and understand the different strands of, the course and the reporting requirements of the funding body.

Key duties include managing and organising events, maintaining an overview of project outputs and liaising with the funder to ensure accurate reporting. You will assist in the collation, analysis and reporting of data, recommend strategies for effective communication and act as a first point of contact for all queries. In addition, you will maintain regular updates and communication on NBS’s Help to Grow social media accounts.

You should have a good standard of education or experience in a directly relevant role. Being organised and able to prioritise and manage resources, and meet deadlines, is essential. You will have experience of administering budgets, taking minutes and organising meetings, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. Experience using the university's systems including the finance system UERP would be an advantage.

This part-time (0.8 FTE) post is available from 27 August 2025 on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2026.

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised as part-time 0.8 FTE, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, job share or part-time (lower FTE). Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.

Further information on our great benefits package, including 34 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays and additional University Customary days (pro rata for part-time), can be found on our benefits page.

Closing date: 25 July 2025.
