Imperial College has recently approved a Strategic Investment into the provision of a next generation Learning Management System (LMS).
The purpose of the role is to support the successful evaluation, and where it is deemed
necessary, selection, implementation and adoption of a new LMS platform that effectively meets the evolving needs of Imperial College London. The role holder, as part of the wider project team, will play a critical role in driving the project forward, engaging with staff within the Business School and stakeholders across the College. This will involve a range of activities throughout the lifecycle of the project from developing user requirements to conducting training for users and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of a potential new LMS.
As part of the Business School’s IDEA Lab team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Business School’s learning technologies, including the LMS (insendi), and other tools. Your primary responsibility will be to gain a comprehensive understanding of these systems, assess their functionalities, and provide essential insights for the ongoing project.
What you would be doing:
While you will sit in the IDEA Lab Team you will work closely with the central college LMS project Team. This will involve facilitating the transition to a potential new system, developing processes, and contributing to user stories. As a key team member, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders, support product evaluations, and meticulously capture system feedback. To gain a solid understanding of the LMS, you’ll also contribute to the overall administration of the current LMS used in the Business School and any associated technologies.
