This is a fantastic chance to support students and graduates directly. You'll be instrumental in bringing our on-campus, online events and recruitment activities to life, from our sector-leading Careers Fairs to insightful Mock Assessment Centres.
A big part of your role will involve getting creative with how we promote all these amazing opportunities. You'll be designing and delivering marketing campaigns across various channels – social media, our webpages, and collaborating with colleagues from across The University.
You will be tasked with boosting engagement and raising the profile of the Careers Network. You’ll need to be able to write compelling copy for the campaigns and be open to trying out new approaches to boost impact. Alongside supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of our fantastic events. You’ll need to be able to manage competing deadlines, liaise with suppliers, and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day. Plus, you'll be a friendly face offering 1:1 advice to students and graduates on all things careers, from perfecting CVs to nailing interviews.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and who can contribute to delivering great events. We’re looking for candidates with experience in a client-focused role and know their way around delivering successful events, both in person and online, building strong relationships with everyone from students to high-profile employers will be key, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are a must. While a good educational background (A-level or equivalent) is essential, if you've got a degree or experience in higher education that would be great but isn’t essential.
This is a full-time, open-ended position offering a competitive salary. We really value a healthy work-life balance at Loughborough, and while some remote working is supported, we'll mostly see you on campus, especially during term-time. You'll also benefit from a wide range of employee perks and family-friendly policies.
