Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a full-time Lecturer in Philosophy to play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual future of our students.
We are looking for a Lecturer in Philosophy on a permanent, full-time (35 hours a week) contract, to join Birkbeck's School of Historical Studies.
As Lecturer, you will have:

Contract
Permanent, full-time contract, 35 hrs a week. Closing date: Thursday 28 August 2025, Interview dates: Friday 3 or 10 October 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be required to give a research presentation as well as an interview. Open for Visa Sponsorship.

Salary and benefits
£43,636 rising to £60,018 per annum. Grade LLEC, quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
