The Centre for Modern Language in SoH currently offers electives in 16 modern languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Malay, Russian, Singapore Sign Language, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese). The Centre places great importance on enhancing the intercultural knowledge and skills of the learners as well as their linguistic competence. We are seeking an experienced lecturer capable of teaching introductory to advanced Spanish to tertiary students. Knowledge in current trends in second/foreign language teaching methodologies is preferred. Candidates should have proven track-record in teaching, curriculum design, multimedia course materials development and knowledge of new technologies in language instruction. The position is offered on a three-year renewable contract basis.
