An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer to join the Museums and Gardens Team on a permanent basis as part of Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM) team within the University of Oxford’s Development and Alumni Engagement Office (DAE).

About the Role
The Project Officer plays a critical role to support front line fundraising and stewardship across GLAM sites, with a particular focus on the Pitt Rivers, Natural History, History of Science Museums and the Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum. The role requires good organisation, communication, and initiative.
The post holder will support the development team and projects to administer donor relations within these 4 institutions including drafting outgoing correspondence to key donors, volunteers and potential donors, running bespoke events for the Development and Engagement Office (DAE), and working closely with other staff in DAE to draft project proposals and ensure best practice data upkeep.
It is an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate to play a role in these institution’s future development and support delivery of its aims and ambitions as part of an engaged and passionate team.
