Overall purpose 

We are recruiting an experienced programme and operations manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of Regent Talent Exchange (RTX) in both the US and UK. The role encompasses strategic and hands-on responsibility for candidate recruitment, host company partnership development, programme delivery, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. This person will act as the primary link between the UK and US RTX teams to ensure seamless programme alignment, quality assurance, and operational excellence. 

Specific duties and responsibilities 

  • Leadership & Management
    • Lead RTX programme operations across the UK and US from initiation through to delivery.
    • Manage the UK team and US teams responsible for candidate recruitment and host company engagement.
    • Work closely with US counterpart(s) to ensure programme goals are aligned and progress is coordinated.
  • Candidate Recruitment
    • Oversee candidate recruitment strategies in both the UK and US, including outreach, selection, and interview processes.
    • Lead candidate interviews and assessments to ensure quality, cultural fit, and consistency across regions.
  • Host Company Recruitment & Management
    • Develop and maintain relationships with host companies in both the UK and US across relevant industries.
    • Design and deliver partnership proposals, MOUs, and onboarding support for host companies.
    • Conduct regular review meetings and provide ongoing relationship management and support in both markets.
  • Placement Matching & Programme Delivery
    • Lead the matching process between candidates and host companies in both the UK and US, ensuring mutual compatibility.
    • Oversee onboarding processes, induction schedules, and check-in points for candidates.
  • Visa & Compliance Management
    • Manage both UK and US visa processes for inbound and outbound participants, ensuring all legal and compliance requirements are met.
    • Liaise with relevant immigration authorities, legal partners, and internal compliance officers in both jurisdictions.
  • Cross-Regional Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between UK and US RTX teams, ensuring shared learnings, efficient workflow, and smooth transitions.
    • Attend and lead regular update meetings with international colleagues and senior leadership.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records, KPIs, and programme metrics across the UK and US.
    • Provide regular reports on recruitment, placements, outcomes, and operational challenges.
    • Drive continuous improvement through structured feedback from candidates and host companies. 

Additional duties: 

  • Represent RTX UK at industry events, education fairs, and corporate forums.
  • Contribute to marketing and communications efforts (testimonials, case studies, impact stories).
  • Support with grant and funding applications where relevant.
  • Participate in broader strategic planning and business development activities for Regent Group. 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Significant experience in programme management, international education, recruitment, or talent mobility.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident in public speaking and client-facing interactions.
  • Experience working with international students or professionals and familiarity with cross-cultural dynamics.
  • Understanding of both UK and US visa and immigration processes (e.g., Tier 5, J-1 visa experience desirable).
  • Proven ability to resolve problems quickly and sensitively, with discretion and professionalism.
