About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Oxford Vaccine Group in the Department of Paediatrics as our Clinical Trials Assistant.
Visits will take place across the UK (expected to be England and Wales primarily), in family homes. Use of own car (or ability to travel independently) is a necessity. The post is 0.5 full-time equivalent and requires flexibility in working days and hours to maximise sample collection.
You will be working in a growing department within the Medical Sciences Division. The Department of Paediatrics is a world leader in child health research and hosts internationally renowned research programmes in drug development, gastroenterology, haematology, HIV, immunology, neuroimaging, neuromuscular diseases and vaccinology.
This position is offered part time (0.5 FTE) on a fixed-term contract initially until 01 March 2029 with the possibility to extend provided further external funding is available.

About you
You should have experience working with babies and/or children and be experienced in assisting with blood taking or willing to train. You should have knowledge of office software such as Excel and Word and experience with data entry.
