The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to become the first point of contact for all visitors, staff, and students at the Learning Technology (LT) department’s office at London College of Fashion, East Bank.
This is a key role within our team, supporting the smooth running of essential operations that enables us to deliver high-quality technical and learning support across the College. Your responsibilities will be interesting and varied, giving you the chance to get involved in many aspects of the LT department's work. From managing calendars and coordinating events to handling procurement and finance processes, you will be based in the very heart of our administrative function.
You will also gain insight into how Learning Technology services operate within an arts, design and communication environment in higher education. Drawing on your excellent organisation and communication skills, you will triage requests for support and respond to a wide range of enquiries relating to LT services.
About you
This role requires a resourceful, organised, and efficient individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
You will possess a good standard of formal training or education to A Level (or hold an NVQ Level 4 in Administration) or the equivalent relevant experience. An understanding of data protection regulations and previous experience providing administrative support in a busy office environment is also essential.
