Join Our Team as Events and Engagement Manager

Are you looking for a role where you can make a real impact? Join our dynamic Advancement Team as an Events and Engagement Manager.

This vital role within the team will focus on planning and delivering events and engagement initiatives, both UK-based and internationally, that contribute to fundraising targets and steward donors, whilst generating commercial income through venue hire and providing seamless account management for key corporate membership benefits.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an organised and self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and relevant operational experience, to support our team with event management.

Our expectations for this role

  • Lead the planning and execution of key Advancement-hosted and exhibition opening events at The Courtauld, both in the UK and internationally.
  • Drive commercial revenue through end-to-end management of venue hire clients, from acquisition to event delivery.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality events tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring strategic engagement outcomes.
  • Manage and grow corporate partnerships by delivering event benefits and fostering long-term relationships.

The right candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in event management, ideally within arts, cultural, or charitable settings, with a strong track record of delivering high-value and income-generating events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, corporate partners, and donors.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience in managing budgets, negotiating with suppliers, and converting venue hire clients into long-term supporters.
  • Creative and strategic thinking, with the ability to plan and deliver events that align with institutional goals and showcase The Courtauld’s mission and community.
