The purpose of this role will be to have specific responsibility for research, for developing research objectives and proposals for a research project in developing an intervention to prevent falls in adults with cerebral palsy; this project has been funded by NIHR Programme Development Grants. 

You will conduct a scoping review, recruit and interview participants, analyse qualitative data, organise a stakeholder event and write up findings of the research in publications and reports. 

You will be expected to plan and conduct work using approaches or methodologies and techniques appropriate to the type of research and will be responsible for writing up your work for publication.

You will join an established team, led by Dr. Sonali Shah, whose main areas of research interest include disability and life course research.

You will have the opportunity to use your initiative and creativity to identify areas for research, develop research methods and extend your research portfolio.

This is a Fixed-Term post until 31/07/2027, part-time position. Your working hours will be (7.25 hours per week).
