We are currently looking for a Senior Scientist – Viral Vaccine Standards to join our Standards Lifecycle function within the Science, Research & Innovation group.
Within a week of working here, your day could look like this: managing projects to develop and characterise biological reference materials that support standardisation of assays used to evaluate viral vaccines/antigens or the response to immunisation, coordinating and managing large multi-laboratory studies, analysing and interpreting complex data sets.
Our successful candidate will have a BSc degree in a relevant scientific discipline combined with relevant post-graduate laboratory experience; experience with performance and standardisation of assays used to evaluate or quantify vaccines/antigens, viruses or the response to immunization; good understanding of the principles of biological standardisation and its application to a range of assay models, and experience analysing and interpreting complex data sets.
