The is a senior position in the Marketing & External Relations Directorate to provide effective leadership and management of the UK Student Recruitment Team.
The role will lead and support the development, implementation, and enhancement of all aspects of the University’s UK Student Recruitment Strategy, including development and delivery of recruitment activity and events, reporting and forecasting student numbers and targets, and development of the portfolio of programmes and courses to meet UK student demands.
The post has responsibility for the line management of 1 direct report and leadership of a recruitment team of 10+ staff to deliver recruitment activity (digitally and physically, both on, and off, campus) supporting a high quality applicant journey, from enquiry to acceptance.
The post holder will be the subject matter expert for domestic UK student recruitment, able to instil confidence across the University with relevant knowledge and professional judgement. You will have the ability to lead and develop a large team, and work collaboratively with Faculties and Directorates, ensuring that the teams works in a close and collaborative manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be a strategic and visible leader driven by targets and results, with a strong analytical skills and experience of making decisions which have a significant impact on the organisation.
