Salary: £23,751 to £24,360 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Posts will initially be offered at the minimum salary point (12.60 per hour) with progression to the higher salary point achieved through an annual incremental pay rise.

Your role as a Cleaner:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas.
Based at University Park the main duties for this post include the general cleaning of offices, teaching spaces, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells providing excellent customer service at all times.
Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

What’s in it for you
This is a permanent position working 5 days out of 7 to be arranged mainly Monday to Friday between 6.00am and 9.00am for 52 weeks of the year to include out of term/student vacation periods. Flexibility will be required.
The successful candidate for this position will be expected to attend departmental Induction training courses which run Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 2.00pm. Further details will be discussed at interview.
