We are recruiting a predoctoral research assistant in child language development for contributing to a research project on early markers of pragmatic development.

The project will investigate early child language data that serves to facilitate dialogical interaction, such as vocatives (e.g. ‘Mummy, where ball?’), response markers (e.g. ‘yes’, ‘no’, ‘mhm’), or repeating previous utterances, in existing corpora of English-speaking caregiver households. All work can be completed remotely.
