The Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI) is a leading research centre at Aston University, within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. EBRI is home to a dynamic team of researchers at various career stages, working collaboratively to address real-world challenges in energy and bio-based product development.
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to join an exciting multidisciplinary project focused on transforming biosolids from the water industry into valuable solid products. The project is funded by OFWAT and led by a well-established UK water company.
This is a full-time position and provides an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, engaging with a diverse team of researchers, academic staff, and industry professionals. We are committed to the development of early career researchers and offer a range of professional development opportunities, including mentoring and shadowing.
Key Responsibilities:
You will have expertise in analytical/environmental chemistry or environmental chemical engineering and a keen interest in sustainable resource management. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This role may meet the requirements for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
