The role
The Student Success Unit is responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of an outstanding and distinctive student experience so that students have a high-quality University experience.
This role will Support the University's Lifelong Learning and Apprenticeship Hub (LLAH) in the development and Delivery of Apprenticeship and CPD programmes.
We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, which will help you relate to our students, academic colleagues, and senior stakeholders. You should also be adept in organising, prioritising, and managing time effectively to ensure the smooth delivery of LLAH Projects.
You should have a keen eye for detail and look to identify and implement improvements wherever possible.
Working with a variety of stakeholders, you will demonstrate initiative, efficiency, attention to detail and a willingness to be flexible to support the wider team.
As a member of the Lifelong Learning and Apprenticeship Hub (LLAH) reporting to the Senior Manager for Lifelong Learning and Apprenticeships you will play a key role in supporting innovation and continuous improvement within the delivery of lifelong learning, apprenticeships and CPD. You will lead on a range of projects and initiatives involving stakeholders from across the institution.
Your role will be to work across teams and with third party stakeholders including businesses to ensure we are delivering an outstanding offer for lifelong learning, apprenticeships and CPD.
To be successful in this role you should have a good understanding of lifelong learning and the skills agenda within the Higher Education sector. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work on complex projects to challenging deadlines as well as excellent organisational, interpersonal and written skills. An essential element of this role will be your ability to influence stakeholders to ensure they are fully engaged in the successful implementation of the projects and initiatives you are working on.
