The Department of Clinical Neurosciences is a progressive academic research Department studying the nervous system to find new treatments for neurological disorders such as Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. We also study neurosurgical topics, addressing care and patient support for those affected by traumatic brain injury and other disorders of the nervous system. Research from the Department has real life impact, and we now have an exciting opportunity for an established HR professional to support this impact in the position of Senior HR Coordinator.
Working in partnership with the Department Business Management Team, the Senior HR coordinator will manage all HR matters such as; the employee life cycle, HR processes and systems, and HR service improvement and initiatives. They will collaborate with HR colleagues internally and externally to the University to deliver efficient and friendly HR support.
This post will lead the existing HR Team whilst seeking to build on the Department's reputation for valuing staff and enhancing the positive working culture for all.
The role is based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and on confirmation of your appointment, the successful candidate will adopt the Department's hybrid working model, consisting of days of work alongside other members of the Operations Team on site and days working from home.
