The Role
The post holder will have a leading role in planning, co-ordinating and implementing two work packages within an EU funded project-MULTIPULM : Integrated care digital-based interventions for multimorbid patients suffering from chronic respiratory conditions in Brazil, Serbia and Türkiye. (Principal Investigator/Co-PI: Professor Shereen Nabhani-Gebara/Professor Reem Kayyali).

This project aims to apply an integrated care digital-based ecosystem, consisting of evidence-based tools, for effectively managing long-term conditions and enhancing secondary prevention of multimorbid patients with chronic respiratory conditions in the LMIC countries of Brazil, Serbia and Türkiye. MULTIPULM approach and offerings aim to improve the QoL of patients and their families as well as tackle the social, financial, political and organizational disparities linked with high challenging management of multimorbidity, formulating a reference paradigm for other LMICs to follow.

The work involves several stages that support the design, development and piloting of the MULTIPULM digital ecosystem.1. Needs assessment stage (Mixed method approach)2. Clinical trial protocol design3. Evaluation using a mixed method approach.

The Person
The post holder is an independent researcher with demonstrable experience of social care research (quantitative/ qualitative research methods). As this is an EU project, the role may involve travel to other European countries to attend meetings with consortium members. Previous experience in the management, co-ordination and conduct of research is essential; as are appropriate academic and/or vocational qualifications, (A background in a health care profession is desirable). The post holder will have excellent communication, presentation, dissemination (publications) skills with a track record of engaging with different groups in health and/or social care settings. They will demonstrate resilience, enthusiasm, innovation and leadership specially when faced with challenges.

Further Information
This is a part-time (25.90 hours per week), fixed-term position available until 31 July 2029 with a starting salary of £27,204.10 per annum (70% pro rata to £38,863 per annum).
