We now seek an exceptional Research Communications Manager to tell these stories to the world.
As a senior member of the School’s Research Office, you will design and deliver a bold, creative communications strategy that raises the visibility of our research and demonstrates its relevance to business, policy and society. Key responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a School-wide research communications strategy aligned with our brand and strategic priorities.
- Build strong relationships with media, policymakers, sponsors and industry leaders.
- Create and commission high-quality content across channels, from web features to social media, opinion articles and podcasts.
- Partner with the University’s communications teams to maximise reach and impact.
- Measure and evaluate communications success, using insights to refine strategy.
You will have substantial communications expertise, particularly in translating complex research into clear, engaging content for non-specialist audiences. You will also have outstanding writing and editorial skills, strong research and analytical abilities, and proven experience in developing and delivering strategic communications plans across multiple platforms.
