About the role

This varied role sits within the External Relations directorate of Queen Mary University of London, one of the UK’s leading universities and a member of the highly regarded Russell Group. We are in the top 10 in the UK for both medicine and dentistry (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025).

As part of the Programmes Marketing team, the postholder will play a key role in the attraction, recruitment, and nurture of students for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, focussing on recruitment and conversion for postgraduate taught programmes.

The post is based at Department W, Mile End Road, London. It is a full-time fixed term appointment (maternity cover) with an expected start date of October 2025. 

About you

We are looking for a professional who is passionate about delivering impactful marketing and student recruitment activities within a complex and vibrant environment. Additionally, experience of working in student recruitment and marketing, or Higher Education more broadly would be highly desirable but not essential. If that sounds like you and you’re impatient to make a difference, we look forward to receiving your application.

  • Degree educated or suitable relevant work experience required
  • Experience of developing and delivering impactful marketing and communications activities and campaigns
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to use marketing tools including CMS and CRM systems
  • Knowledge and experience of working with and interpreting data
  • Ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative while being part of a team and building positive relationships with a variety of colleagues
  • An understanding of UK and International student recruitment within higher education either from previous roles or your own higher education experience
