Do you have experience of undergraduate medical education? Do you enjoy and have experience of working with data?

We are pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for an Education Fellow working on Curriculum Mapping within KMMS, a role that will focus on mapping the current BM BS curriculum to appropriate outcomes, including programme outcomes, GMC Outcomes for Graduates and MLA. Education Fellows also actively contribute to multiple mini-interviews (MMIs) and clinical assessment (OSCEs).

As Education Fellow in Curriculum Mapping you can expect to:

  • Map the 5-year curriculum of BM BS, producing a final suite of documents that clearly identify and relate the current curriculum to appropriate programme outcomes.
  • Liaise closely with line manager, educators and lecturers to deliver an accurate and quality assured outcome, reporting on progress and identifying potential barriers and delays well in advance.
  • Prepare and attend, in collaboration with line manager, meetings with module leads and Year Academic Leads as part of the quality assurance process related to curriculum mapping.

What will you bring to the role?

  • A Medical/Healthcare degree, or a closely related subject area such as Human Anatomy, Physiology or Biochemistry, or equivalent
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines, organising and deploying time effectively
  • A logical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues at all levels.
