This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Health Sciences at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and contribute to high-quality and transformative educational experiences for Nutrition and related healthcare students in an innovative and high-tech learning environment. You will be part of a lively and committed team delivering and growing our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Nutrition. In addition, where relevant, you will have an opportunity to contribute to programmes across the Division, School and University.
The School delivers a breadth of professional programmes such as Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Dietetics, Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science, Nursing and Paramedic Science. As such, we are in a unique position to develop opportunities for multi-professional and interdisciplinary learning, teaching and research.
To apply for this role, you should have a first degree in Nutrition or Biological Science with a post graduate degree in an area relevant to human nutrition. You should currently be teaching/practicing in a field of human nutrition demonstrating contemporary knowledge and have recent experience of undertaking student assessment and facilitating learning and teaching in nutrition practice or a Higher Education context. Registration with the AfN or in the process of applying for it (evidenced in the application) and being proficient in quantitative data handling and statistical methods would be advantageous.
