About the role
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Lab Technician to support our Cell and Molecular Biology Unit. The Laboratory Technician will provide core support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the multi-user Cell and Molecular Biology (C&MB) Labs, including responsibilities such as preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials, managing inventory and supplies, supporting users with protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting in routine experimental procedures when required.
This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.'
We will consider the possibility of flexible working with the right candidate. This role is not eligible for hybrid working.

About you
To apply, you must have a BSc in a Biological Sciences/STEM subject or significant experience working in a lab environment. You should have a good knowledge of laboratory techniques and health and safety issues. You should be a practical and organised individual with good attention to detail. Proven ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
