The role
University of the Arts London is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to design and deliver inclusive, high-quality education events that reflect UAL’s commitment to collaboration, professional growth and teaching excellence.
Reporting to the Staff Engagement Manager, you will play a key part in delivering events and shaping a programme of activities that connects your colleagues with UAL’s learning and teaching development agenda, ensuring every event maximises impact, engagement and attendee experience.
With a focus on operational delivery, you will manage logistics, liaise with event leads and coordinate delivery teams to ensure the swift and smooth delivery of events. You will anticipate needs from both staff and visitor perspectives, recognise resource gaps and areas for improvement, as well as identify roles to be recruited through Arts Temps.
You will also collaborate with the Content Coordinator to analyse feedback, monitor engagement and continuously evolve UAL’s events offer.
About you
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments, and brings creativity and initiative to problem solving.
You will have demonstrable experience of events management and delivery (ideally within a cultural or higher education setting), combined with strong project management expertise.
Equally important is your ability to develop and coordinate training programmes for entry-level positions, and to manage service-oriented teams working to deliver a range of objectives while maintaining high standards of quality.
