Location: Aston University Main Campus
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Fellow to join our team within Aston University’s Library and Learning Services department. You will provide high quality teaching and learning to Aston University students across the University and will be particularly responsible for supporting the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
Working within Learning Services, you will support Aston students with the development of their academic writing, research, communication and study skills. The role requires teaching on campus and online with responsibility for one-one tutorials, small and large group teaching.
You will be required to contribute to the creation of learning resources for Learning Services, including online resources for Aston’s virtual learning environment (Blackboard). You will also collaborate with colleagues from across Learning Services and the University to provide appropriate learning support for students, and to contribute to developments related to the support of student attainment, retention and success.
We are looking for somebody who is creative and passionate about student learning and development; possesses a relevant teaching qualification and has experience of student partnership working and teaching and supporting learning in Higher Education.
