An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Directorate of People for a Student Immigration Compliance Officer. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining compliance with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) rules and regulations as well as undertaking a pivotal role in supporting the development and enhancement of both new and established procedures within the University to keep abreast of changes to Government immigration rules. The role is key to ensuring the University meets its requirements as a Student visa sponsor and therefore is crucial to our retaining our ability to recruit students from all over the world to study at our Aberdeen campus.
Applicants will ideally have experience of working in the Higher Education sector or an immigration/visa compliance-orientated role. You should also have knowledge and experience in using databases/ spreadsheets and the suite of Microsoft Office programs, as well as experience of having adhered to GDPR.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 5, £32,546 - £36,130 per annum, with placement according to qualifications and experience.
