Salary
Lecturer Grade F: £35,608 to £46,049 per annum.
Lecturer Grade G: £47,389 to £56,535 per annum.
The Role
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Lecturer in Accounting (Teaching and Scholarship) to contribute to delivery and development of our undergraduate and postgraduate accounting programmes. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas: financial accounting and reporting; audit and assurance; management accounting; corporate governance; non-financial reporting (ESG/sustainability reporting); financial management; and business case studies.
Applicants should either hold a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA) or a PhD in a relevant accounting discipline (or be nearing completion). Applicants must demonstrate a clear commitment to developing their profile in teaching and pedagogic scholarship. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching in accounting and to contribute to the advancement of pedagogic practice in the discipline. You will contribute to the development and delivery of programmes in the Accounting and Financial Management Subject Group in Newcastle University Business School, ensuring an outstanding teaching experience for our students.
