About this role

The Student Data and Systems (SDS) service supports learning and teaching at UWE and helps enhance the student experience. The SDS community works together to join up our various business and system areas so that we do not work in siloes but contribute to a “Team UWE” approach to stewarding our student data and systems.

We now have a vacancy for a Team Leader within our Curriculum Infrastructure and Data team.

The Curriculum Infrastructure and Data team is responsible for maintaining, updating and stewarding our curriculum data across several key systems, including our curriculum management tool and student records system.

About you

You will bring your experience of service delivery within a complex organisation, ensuring your management of the team is instrumental to the delivery of a seamless and responsive curriculum service. You will take a leading role in information stewardship, reporting and documentation, enabling your team to provide proactive and knowledgeable administration of our curriculum data.

You will use your management skills to ensure that there is high quality curriculum data across systems, that team deadlines are met and that continuous improvement is at the core of our endeavours. Analytical and solution-focused, you will continually explore ways in which you can contribute to the wider student data governance agenda.

The Curriculum Infrastructure Team is central to the management of our curriculum data and works closely with other relevant teams such as Timetabling and Academic Quality, as well as colleagues across Student Data and Systems.
