ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a brand-new academic role at our dynamic London campus and a chance to make a real impact from day one. You’ll be at the heart of shaping our newly launched NMC-accredited pre- and post-registration Nursing programmes, supported by a brand-new simulation ward and a passionate academic and professional services team.
In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting student nurses during their practice placements, working closely with Practice Placement Facilitators and external partners to enhance the learning experience. You will deliver high-quality, engaging teaching across clinical and theoretical nursing skills in various settings including simulation-based environments. Contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and programme improvement, while also supporting student progression, retention, and employability. You will participate in quality assurance activities and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of an outstanding educational experience aligned with NMC standards and university objectives.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience supporting student nurses in clinical practice and/ or higher education settings. You’ll also need a track record of designing and delivering innovative and engaging teaching method whether online, simulation-based, or in the classroom that make a meaningful impact on student learning. Collaboration with external partners, such as NHS placement providers, to enhance the student experience is also essential. In addition, you must hold current NMC registration as a registered adult nurse.
