The Opportunity
Join us as Timetabling and Attendance Manager and take the lead in delivering a vital service that shapes the academic experience across Keele University.
We’re looking for a strategic, organised, and people-focused individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Timetabling Team and ensure an effective review of the University’s Attendance Monitoring Procedure. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage two Timetabling Officers, provide expert guidance across scheduling activities, and ensure our services run smoothly and efficiently in line with university policy and strategic goals.
This is a hands-on leadership role with significant institutional reach. You'll work closely with academic schools, professional services, and Estates to coordinate timetables, space utilisation, and data-driven decision-making. You'll also play a key role in maintaining operational stability as Keele embarks on a major Timetabling Project to transform our systems, processes, and policies.
You will bring experience of working within a timetabling function in a higher education setting, with a strong grasp of scheduling systems such as CELCAT or Syllabus Plus. You’ll have a track record of leading people, delivering excellent service, and supporting change initiatives. Confident, analytical, and resilient, you'll have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with staff at all levels.
If you're ready to lead with purpose and make a measurable impact on the student and staff experience, we’d love to hear from you.
